These practice tests provide a perfect opportunity for those feeling uncertain or nervous about the aural element of their ABRSM practical exam to practise the required skills as many times as they like.

The CD includes six complete examination-style practice tests designed to support the revised ABRSM aural tests effective from January 2011.

CD contains:

• Six complete examination-style tests
• Each section of each test located on a separate track for ease of use
• Concert hall recording with a Steinway Grand Piano
• Answers to each test given where appropriate

The tests are presented by Laurence Perkins, well-known in the UK and internationally as a solo bassoonist and orchestral player. He has been the series producer of these aural test recordings since the first classic recordings in 1982 with the late Ida Carroll, a leading authority on aural training at the time.
