More Details:

The NR300 actually functions as two pedals in one. In Reduction mode, adjust the dedicated Threshold and Decay dials to create a sound that keeps all your tone and dynamics intact while effectively keeping hum out of the picture. In Mute mode, step on this stomp box to cut your input signal during moments of silence. It features two LEDs?one to indicate when it's activated, another to indicate when it's suppressing noise. You can power this hum killer with a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (not included). And the top-quality on/off switch maintains absolutely noise-free operation. If single-coil pickups are your main squeeze, milk 'em for all they're worth with the BEHRINGER Noise Reducer.

Behringer NR300 Specs

  • Effectively eliminate unwanted noise and hum without altering your tone
  • This BEHRINGER product has been designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market

Guitar Effects and Guitar Effects Pedals are used by a lot of guitarists, mainly electric guitar players to add colour and variation to their sound.

Guitar effects can be exteremely subtle in their change to the sound. For example a small amount of delay added from a delay pedal is sometimes hard to hear but when playing a solo it really adds to your sound - I personally wouldn't be without it.

Other guitar effects change the sound drastically such as the distortion pedals which, as you can imagine, adds distortion to your sound.

There are literally hundreds of effects pedals to choose from and ultimately your choice of effects defines your own unique sound. Check out youtube for examples of any pedals - they really give a great idea of how they may sound for you!
