These twelve pieces have been arranged for flexible ensemble, allowing you to choose the instruments, add octave doublings, leave out voices or improvise your own ideas to suit your taste. This makes it ideal for smaller groups as well as larger ensembles.

They offer a glimpse into the typically bittersweet melody and harmony of Yiddish music, which emerged from a mixture of Yiddish, slavic, Rumanian and German stylistic elements and is undergoing a revival in the folk music scene.

The score features two melody lines, guitar chords, piano and bass for each piece.
